  Получила педагогическое образование, работала учительницей.
  В 1918–1921 годах прошла анализ у своего

  международных конгрессах.
  В 1923 году открыла собственную
  психоаналитическую практику, в 1924 году возглавила Венский психоаналитический институт,

  директором клиники детской терапии

  Автор книг «Введение в технику детского психоанализа» (1927),
  «Я и механизмы защиты» (1936), «Норма и патология детства»
  (1965). Работала над изданием собрания сочинений
